ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday requested the world community to think about writing off loans to the countries like Pakistan amid a crisis emerged due to coronavirus.
Speaking to a foreign wire service, the premier voiced concern over the possible worst impact of coronavirus on the developing countries’ economies.
Meanwhile, as of Tuesday afternoon the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus has reached 193 after emergence of new cases in the country.
Five new cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab today. Now the total number of cases reached to six in the province, Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said.
In Sindh, five more confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported today, taking the tally to 155.
The deadly virus has so far killed over 6.500 people in the world.
