ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has directed all the federal, civil, military and provincial rescue and relief agencies to declare immediate alert and mobilise all resources to ensure safety of citizens in the wake of earthquake on Sunday.
“All agencies have been directed to move out with their resources to find out the affected people and ensure immediate rescue activities and assistance wherever required,” a press release of the PM Office media wing said.
The Prime Minister further directed the relevant quarters to keep him updated on the developing situation.
