ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan on Tuesday visited rains and storm affected areas of Peshawar.
At the occasion, the KP governor told the masses that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has announced a special relief package for the rains and storm affected people of Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera.
The governor said the premier has approved 500,000 for each deceased and 50,000 rupees for the each injured.
Sardar Mehtab also visited Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar and gave fifty thousand rupees to each injured on behalf of the Prime Minister.
He said the government will assist the masses in rebuilding the infrastructure damaged by natural calamity.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inaf chief (PTI) Imran Khan had stressed the federal government to help the rain affeectees.
