SIALKOT: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Dr Asif Tufail on Friday said that the district government has finalised a plan to deal with the post-rain situation in the city.
He said arrangements have been made for disposal of stagnant rainwater and sewerage, improving drainage system and de-silting Nullah Bhade.
He said that the TMA officias would monitor the emergency work after rains and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
He expressed these views during his visit to city areas. TMO Zafar Quereshi informed the DCO about arrangements for disposal of stagnant water after 46mm rain in different parts of the city.
