Elections Commission of Pakistan has taken notice of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F) political gatherings ahead of by-polls at PK-8 and ordered Police and Deputy Commissioner (DC) to take action against the parties over violation of code of conduct.
Political gatherings ahead of by elections are violation of code of conduct and strict action can be taken against both parties, ECP spokesmen said on Monday.
Deputy Commissioner and Police already been told to take action against whoever violate ECP’s code of conduct, he added.
