KARACHI: In its attempts to maintain stringent security measures for the upcoming Muharram processions, the government of Sindh has imposed a ban on pillion riding from 6 pm on Saturday.
On the directions of Additional Inspector General (AIG) Karachi Mushtaq Meher, a ban on pillion riding has been imposed from 6 pm today till 11th of Muharram.
Police stated that the ban on pillion riding has been imposed keeping in mind the recent incidences of firing in the metropolis and maintenance of law and order in Karachi.
