KARACHI: Sindh government has imposed ban on pillion riding for two days in Karachi. According to details, pillion riding would be banned on September 5 and 6 in the city.
The decision was taken to avoided any mishap on defense day. Police sources said that the provincial administration on the advice of police authorities banned pillion-riding under Section 144 (power to issue order absolute at once in urgent cases of nuisance or apprehended danger) of the criminal procedure code and the ban would be effective from Friday midnight for two days — September 5 and 6.
