The first Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) pre-Hajj flight carrying 328 intending pilgrims departed from Islamabad for Madina Munawara, Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.
The pilgrims were seen off by Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf.
The minister congratulating the intending pilgrims and said all possible arrangements have been made to provide the best possible facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.
Meanwhile, first private Hajj flight carrying 320 pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia from Karachi Airport on Thursday morning.
During 2016 Hajj operation, PIA would operate flights from ten cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sukkur, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan.
