ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has terminated its 54 employees over chrages of bribery, fake credentials, indulging in narcotics, smuggling and stealing government record.
The termination of the employees came after inquiries and reports of committees.
On the other hand, the national carrier awarded its 13 employees the appreciation letters for the performance. Monetary awards were also given to 7 employees.
A spokesman for the PIA said that the 54 employees had been sacked as the accountability process was continuing in the organisation.
