KARACHI: Over 200 passengers escaped unhurt when a Pakistan International Airline plane jarred against a tunnel after its landing at Karachi airport in Saturday’s wee hours.
Flight PK782 flew into Karachi from Toronto via Islamabad. According to CIA officials, doors of the plane were stuck owing to the smash as one engine of the plane ceased working.
However, the passengers who remained stranded for over an hour, were safely taken out of the plane, the official added.
The CIA sources said the pilot had been shifted to a private hospital for medical checkup.
