KARACHI: More than two dozen flights of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) have yet been cancelled as the Pakistan Airline Pilots Association (PALPA) started go-slow on Thursday against the airline management.
The conflict has inflicted over Rs120 million loss to the airline as the cancelled flights include seven international flights.
PALPA said mismanagement of PIA bosses would hand them losses of millions and trouble the passengers.
President PALPA Capt Aamir Hashmi said employment agreement was not being followed. The pilots were doing exhausting job with long overtimes with no leaves.
The tension between PALPA and PIA escalated further after some pilots were suspended.
