KARACHI: Pakistan International Airline induct another Airbus-320 in its fleet to augment its strength in a move to overcome its staggering losses.
The new plan arrived Quaid-e-Azam International Airport on Sunday (today) morning.
According to PIA spokesperson, the Airbuses will be operated on International route.
The number of A-320′s in Pakistan’s fleet now stands at eight.
Once considered as a jewel in the crown of regional airlines, PIA has been in dire strait due to continuous operational losses and past efforts to restructure the airline to make it a profitable entity have so far been unsuccessful.
