ISLAMABAD: Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Miftah Ismail on Wednesday assured that conditions of service of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees would not be disturbed.
While talking to media, he said the corruption and irregularities were major problems of PIA as the institution had already facing Rs 300 billion deficit, adding no one will be terminated from service and no plans to deduct their salaries.
He said the government strategic partner, after buying PIA, would provide better and comfort services to the passengers besides improving image, repute and efficiency of the airline.
He assured that the process of privatization of PIA would be held in transparent manner.
Miftah Ismail expressed grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives during the protest on Tuesday.
