KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines on Monday decided to dismissed Joint Action Committee Chairman Captain Sohail Baloch and other key leaders.
The decision was made in the PIA board of directors meeting in Karachi. The meeting reviewed the economic situation of the national carrier. It is said in the meeting that PIA received Rs4.5 billions loss due to the protest. PIA had to pay Rs5.5 billion rupees in February-2016.
The board of directors demanded of the government to provide grant on emergency basis so as they could pay the necessary dues.
