ISLAMABAD: The federal government has increased petroleum rates across the country on October 31, 2015 up to Rs2.50 and Rs1.75 in high speed diesel.
The announcement was made by the finance minister Ishaq Dar here on Saturday while no hike was made in prices of kerosene oil, high octane and light diesel.
It should be mentioned here that Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on October 29 recommended raising the petroleum prices by Rs5.75 per liter.
However, the government made the increase up to Rs2.50 in petrol and Rs1.75 in High Speed Diesel respectively. Following the hike, new prices of petrol will be Rs76.26 per liter
