Petrol price likely to touch Rs150-mark per litre

Rs1.35 per litre hiked in petrol prices

KARACHI: Petroleum prices are likely to become more expensive in the country due to rising oil prices in the world market.

According to sources, due to increase in oil prices in the global market, petrol price is likely to increase to Rs150 per liter for the first time in the history of the country.

Oil marketing sources said that petroleum prices are likely to jump upto Rs6 per liter from January 16. They said that petrol price is likely to jump to Rs5 per liter and diesel to Rs6 per liter.
