ISLAMABAD: Petroleum products are likely to be reduced by upto Rs2 per liter.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of the reduction in prices to the concerned authorities.
Petroleum Division officials said that in the summary, it was recommended to reduce the price of petrol by Rs2 per liter. A reduction of Rs2 in diesel price has also been proposed.
They added said that the OGRA summary has proposed not to increase the petroleum levy. Price reduction is proposed for 15 days.
The new prices will be announced this evening after the approval of the prime minister. After the reduction, the new price of petrol will be Rs108.35. The price of diesel will be reduced to Rs111.08.
