LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday admitted for hearing a petition seeking quashing of an FIR against Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and 65 others.
The court will hear the petition submitted by one Malik Zafar Iqbal, a top JuD leader, on Aug 22.
The case against the JuD chief and others was registered without lawful authority and of no legal effect, the petition says.
It added that the property under question was for a mosque.
