Peshawar Zalmi beat Islamabad United to reach PSL-6 final

ABU DHABI: Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 8 wickets in the second eliminator to reach the PSL-6 final.

Islamabad United gave Peshawar Zalmi a target of 175 runs to win. Zalmi achieved the target in 16.5 overs.

Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to field against Islamabad United. Colin Munro and Usman Khawaja started the innings for Islamabad which did not go well. United’s two wickets fell for just 15 runs.

Usman Khawaja was run out for one while Mohammad Akhlaq also run out for 7 off the ball of Mohammad Imran.

A 56-run partnership was made between Colin Munro and Brendon King on the occasion.

Now Peshawar Zalmi will take on Multan Sultans in the final.
