PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Thursday announced two days holidays on May 29, 30 in all schools of the province.
The holidays have been announced for making polling stations for upcoming local body’s (LB polls) election.
It is pertinent to mention here that LB polls is going to be held in the province of May 30. From these holidays summer vacations will commence as well as it was scheduled from June 1.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed the printing of ballot papers for local bodies election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) May 27.
Sources said, around 7 crore and 22 lac ballot papers have been printed whereas the election would be monitored by the security personnel to avoid any rigging.
