PDM’s steering committee recommends long march and resignation from assemblies

ISLAMABAD: The steering committee of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has recommended a long march and resignation from the assemblies.

The development came during a meeting of the PDM’s steering committee  chaired by PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. The meeting considered the option of long march and resignations from the assemblies.

According to sources, the steering committee prepared recommendations on long march and resignations and members gave the opinion that there should be long march and resignations should be given.

The long march and the date of resignations will be decided by the PDM. It was also agreed to hold conventions and protest rallies in all four provinces before the long march.
