ISLAMABAD:  Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi intensified contacts with allied parties.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that after the failed rallies in Peshawar, Multan, Karachi and Lahore, the politics of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) gang seems to be coming to an end.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi criticized the PDM rally held yesterday and said that the conscious citizens of Lahore did not attend the meeting and rejected the statement of the PDM.

Reacting to the Lahore rally, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hamad Azhar said that 11 parties could not hold a rally like PTI in Lahore alone.

Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid also termed the PDM meeting a failure.

It may be recalled that PDM held a rally in Greater Iqbal Park in Lahore yesterday in which thousands of people participated.
