Opposition threatens to stage sit-in, block OIC moot if no-trust move not tabled on Monday

Lahore: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has issued the “Lahore Declaration” stating that the parties in the PDM believe in an Islamic, federal and parliamentary constitution, which will create a Pakistan where the sanctity of the constitution takes precedence and all state administrative bodies will remain under the elected administration and parliament.

The PDM leaders signed the Lahore Declaration at the Raiwind Consultative Meeting.

The declaration said that the political, economic and social rights of the people will be fought together, the judiciary will be independent, freedom of the media will be protected and the elected institutions will be accountable to the people.
