KARACHI: JUI-F and the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has termed the arrest of Capt Safdar as attack on the PDM.
Addressing a press conference here at a local hotel alongwith the PDM leaders on Monday, Maulana Fazl said that the arrest of Capt Safdar was condemnable.
Recalling the past events, the JUI-F chief said that the PTI had staged commotion at the Mazar-e-Quaid. These people (PTI) had even violated the sanctity of the Masjid al Haram and Majid-e-Nabawwi (PBUH), where talking in a loud voice is forbidden.
He termed the arrest of Capt Safdar as an attack on the PDM.
Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said that Capt Safar had told the police not to enter the room as he was coming out of it. But, the police forcefully entered the room, breaking the door.
