Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Sarfraz Ahmed as Twenty20 skipper of the Green-shirts on Tuesday.
As per details, PCB Ha also issued the statement of the appointment after a brief discussion.
PCB Chairman Shehryar Khan said in a statement that he is happy to appoint wicket-keeper cum batsman as new skipper of Pakistan side in the shortest format of the game.
Chairman PCB said “I spoke to Sarfraz this morning and conveyed to him that he was our natural choice for this position. His appointment is open-ended. I wish him good luck in his new role”.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Shahid Afridi stepped down as the skipper after power Asia Cup T20 and World T20 performance.
