LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Kahan on Thursday confirmed that the Sri Lankan cricket team will come to Pakistan.
Talking to media in a press conference in Lahore, Khan said that the country’s cricket board cannot force the Islanders to visit Pakistan in the current circumstances.
“They are not coming in September; it was just a suggestions that they can visit Pakistan in September if they can. They can come whenever they feel comfortable.”, said PCB chief
The PCB chairman while calling ‘Zimbabwe tour’ an enough success maintained that Pakistan is not putting up pressure on Sri Lanka Board for a tour.
He said that the recently concluded Zimbabwe tour benefited not only Pakistan but cricket in general adding that Zimbabwe cricket officials too claimed that they will remember their reception in Pakistan for a long time.
Khan also lauded Pakistani public for their amazing display of patriotism and enthusiasm to make the homes series a success.
