ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) has appointed two officials as national coach and technical committee head who failed to qualify even Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) Level-II coaching courses.

Talking to APP, a source said Nadeem Khan who has been appointed as national coach while Sajjid Hussain (office clerk) as PBF technical committee head could not managed to qualify in the BWF level-II coaching course held recently. “PBF has appointed them just on favoritism,” he said.

He said the move was denying experienced coaches’ right besides incurring huge loss to the Badminton in the country.

“If these two coaches will train the players than one can expect what type of training they will give,” he questioned.

When contacted Wajid Ali Chaudhry, Honorary Secretary, PBF, said he was abroad (Korea) and could not give any statement while Mian Iftikhar Hussain, President, PBF could not be reached for comments.
