PARACHINAR: An impressive passing out parade of 500 troops of Frontier Corps who completed their six months long professional training was held here Tuesday.
Brigadier Muhammad Ali, who was the chief guest on the occasion, took solute from the smartly turned out contingents of FC troops on this occasion and examined the parade.
In his address, Brigadier Muhammad Ali said that our valiant soldiers including FC troops have rendered matchless sacrifices in war against terrorism by showing exemplary valour and gallantry and defeated the evil designs of terrorists.
He said great responsibility was now lied on the shoulders of passed out recruits to serve their motherland with best of their abilities and save it from enemies.
He also lauded the sacrifices of Frontier Corps for defence of the country and held it in high esteem.
Political Agent Kurram Agency Akramullah Khan, Commandant Kurram Levy Force, Colonel Umar, Col Tariq and other senior civil and military officials were present on the occasion. Brigadier Muhammad Ali commended the high standard of the parade and distributed certificates and prizes among position holders.
