A small passenger plane with 21 people on board went missing in Himalayas region in Nepal, officials said on Wednesday.
The twin Otter aircraft took off from Nepal’s second-largest city of Pokhara just before 8 a.m. local time on Wednesday and was scheduled to fly to Jomsom.
It is believed that 18 passengers, including two tourists, and 2 crew members were on board the aircraft.
A search and rescue operation has been launched, and the fate of the aircraft is unknown.
