The Palestine grand mufti has arrived in Pakistan today (Tuesday) on the invitation by Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.
Tahir Ashrafi disclosed that the grand mufti will also attend ‘Message of Islam Conference’ as the chief guest.
He said that ‘Message of Islam Conference’ will present an explicit and practical mechanism and way out for elimination of terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence.
Earlier – Jerusalem Grand Mufti al-Husseini visited in 1938 trip to Lahore – where he met Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other Pakistan Movement leaders.
