CHICAGO: Pakistan’s famous variety of mangoes, the Sindhri will be available in US city of Chicago, a US Consulate post announced on social media.
Sindhri, which is an exportable variety like its rival ‘Chaunsa’, has an edge over other varieties because of its look and taste as it is considered the sweetest mango variety in Pakistan.
Now Pakistani expatriates and the general US populace can enjoy the desi treat as US consulate announces that the mangoes from Sindh province are on sale in Chicago.
‘Sindhri is widely used as a ‘gift’ in different circles extending from the civil bureaucracy, to the police, politicians and the ‘common man’.
It’s mango season! And here’s some good news for #Pakistani expats: Sindh’s famous #Sindhri mangoes are now on sale in #Chicago! Yum!
