Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves position

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$19,811.6 million on 30 Oct, 2015, said Chief Spokesman State Bank of Pakistan Abid Qamar on Thursday.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as follows: Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan are $14,820.8 m; net foreign reserves held by all the other banks are $ 4,990.8 m; while, total liquid foreign reserves are $ 19,811.6 m.

During the week ending 30 Oct, 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by US$97 million to US$14,821 million, compared to US$14,918 million in the previous week.
