Advisor on National Security Nasir Khan Janjua has called on the world to shun the policy of discrimination against Pakistan and take steps to ensure strategic stability in the region.
This he said while addressing an international conference on ‘Promoting Global Peace’ in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said Pakistan is a peace-loving nation and supports political reconciliation for revival of peace and tranquillity in the region.
The Advisor called on India and Pakistan to engage immediately for resolution of all outstanding disputes and invest in peace for the security of their future generations.
He said Pakistan is committed in the war on terror and has made major strides to rid the country of this curse. Our success will connect the world with the central Asian states besides we will provide gateway to China.
Referring to the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, Nasir Janjua said the conflicts should not be allowed to flourish and affect the global peace.
On the occasion, the speakers expressed concerns over the acts of terror being perpetrated by the Indian state sponsored terrorists in the country.
They said peace in the region hinges on the just resolution of outstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the UN resolutions.
