LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Senator Sirajul Haq said on Sunday that we can live with hunger but cannot accept the US supremacy.
The nation has strongly rejected the threats hurled by US President Donald Trump, the JI chief said in a statement while giving a strong reaction to the US president’s recent prime time televised-speech in which he accused Pakistan of offering ‘safe haven’ to terrorist groups.
He added that the country could not afford any adventure at the moment.
He observed that millions of youths were ready to defend the motherland.
Siraj emphasised the need of honest leadership to strengthen country’s defence.
Status quo has frustrated the young generation, the JI chief maintained.
