Pakistani pilgrims arrive Jeddah for Umrah after restrictions

Jeddah: Following months of restrictions in the wake of coronavirus pandemic, two flights carrying Pakistani pilgrims for Umrah arrived here.

According to reports, a total of 96 pilgrims reached Jeddah from Islamabad and Lahore. The pilgrims will spend three days in quarantine, during which they will be provided with food facilities.

Later, they will perform Umrah in groups. They will stay in the kingdom for 10 days.

The Saudi authorities had resumed Umrah last month after about seven-month restrictions.
