Pakistan win another snooker world title

Pakistan teams have created history at World Team Snooker Championship as Pakistan team 1 defeated the team 2 from the same country in the final of the competition.

The team 2 having former World Champion Muhammad Asif and current World No.4 World 6Reds Babar Masih edged out another team from the country Muhammad Sajjad and Asjad Iqbal to win the 2017 IBSF World Men Team Snooker championship played at Hurghada, Egypt.

Team Pakistan-2 gave a good start and capitalised first two frames but after that in doubles Sajjad and Asjad made 60 points break and won the frame.

Though Team-1 had a good start but Pakistan-2 countered well and curtailed them to 28 points to go ahead and clear the table scoring 70-28 to claim title.
