Pakistan win 4th ODI against Sri Lanka to seal series

COLOMBO: Pakistan on Wednesday won the 4th One-day International match against Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at Premadasa Cricket Stadium, Colombo.

Sri Lanka set Pakistan 257 runs target to win the match on 9 wickets. Pakistan achieved the target in 40.5 overs on 3 wickets.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Thirimanne scored 90 runs on 126 balls. Pakistani bowler Muhammad Irfan took three wickets while Anwar Ali grabbed two wickets.

Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad scored 95 runs. While Mohammad Hafeez scored 70 runs in the match. Sri Lankan bowlers Malinga, Lakmal and Siriwardana took one wicket each.

Ahmed Shehzad was awarded with the Man of the Match. President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif congratulated the team over the victory.
