WASHINGTON: Pakistan and the U.S. would resume strategic dialogues here on Tuesday where foreign secretary Aizaz Chaudhry will represent Pakistan.
The upcoming phase of talks will be the part of strategic dialogues between both countries. Six working groups would emphasis talks on economic and trade, power, anti-terrorism, law implementation, defence, education, science, technology and nuke non-proliferation.
Pakistan delegation would comprise foreign secretary Aizaz Ahmed and high-level officials of strategic plan division of foreign ministry.
The U.S. delegation will be headed by Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Rose E. Gottemoeller.
It should be mentioned that Pak-US strategic dialogues were suspended post operation in Abbottabad.
