Pakistan’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, has urged international community to provide assistance for the refugees residing around the World.
Maleeha Lodhi said that Pakistan is the second largest country around the world that is hosting refugee-hosting. She was addressing at a function at UN headquarters on the global plight of refugees and displaced persons.
She highlighted that more than half of the world’s refugees today are children that is the highest ever number in over a decade.
