Pakistan to supply 10 trainer aircraft to Nigeria

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday signed an agreement for sale of ten Super Mushshak Aircraft to Nigerian Air Force, Pakistan Air Forces (PAF) announced here.

“The contract signing ceremony was held at Abuja (Nigeria), where Air Vice Marshal Iya Ahmed Abdullahi and Air Marshal Arshad Malik, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) signed the contract,” PAF Spokesman Air Commodore Syed Muhammad Ali said.

The contract also includes operational training and technical support and assistance to Nigerian Air Force. Pakistan Air Force would completely establish this facility in the shortest possible time, he said.

This contract would not only open new avenues for export of aviation equipment to foreign countries but also help in generating revenue for the country.

The Aircraft is already in service with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iran and South Africa.

The deal further strengthens PAC’s status as a world class aviation industry producing the supersonic JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak trainer aircraft.
