ISLAMABAD: Government of Pakistan on Tuesday announced to raise the issue of Indian interference in Pakistan’s internal affairs in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
Pakistan’s permanent representative to the UN, Maleeha Lodhi, and ambassadors from some other countries have been called in Islamabad for consultation to take up Indian interference at UN.
Sources said the meeting of ambassadors decided to take world powers into confidence following emergence of proofs of Indian meddling and Indian PM Narendra Modi’s confession.
Modi, during a recent visit to Dhaka, acknowledged that Indian forces had a role in the war that created Bangladesh in 1971.
Sources said the meeting also discussed British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) report claiming that MQM had received Indian funding.
