WASHINGTON: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry has said that Pakistan would not sign the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).He said that Pakistan considers it a discriminatory accord.
While in a briefing after holding a meeting with US officials on security, strategic stability and non-proliferation issues, he said that Pakistan had a right to defend itself. He said that Pakistan would not sign the NPT and he declared it a discriminatory treaty.
