Special Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, said that India has suggested to hold National Security Advisor-level dialogues on August 23-24, 2015, however, Pakistan has not confirmed so far to take part in it.
Sartaj Aziz said that Indian government would be apprised regarding the decision for the meeting in second week of August.
He added that Pakistani government is in contact with Indian officials to finalise agenda of the expected meeting of National Security Advisors.
It should be mentioned that Pakistani and Indian premiers had agreed to restore Foreign Secretary-level dialogues on prominent issues between both countries during a meeting held in Ufa, Russia on the occasion of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit 2015 last month.
