Pakistan test ranking drops to six as ICC issues yearly ranking

DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday issued yearly ranking of test playing nation which dropped Pakistan on number six position despite winning recent the two-match series against Bangladesh.

Earlier, Pakistan were at the third position in the ranking.

According to the ICC test rankings for teams, South Africa are at the top of the table followed by Australia. New Zealand climbed to the third place while India is placed at No.4.

England is at the fifth place and Pakistan is at the sixth position.

Sri Lanka stands at No.7, West Indies eighth, Bangladesh is at ninth and Zimbabwe takes the tenth position.
