DHAKA: Only T20 match between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played on Friday (today).
The skipper in short-time format, boom boom Afridi expressed determination to win the match.
The match will be played in Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla stadium.
Morale of the Bangal tiger is high after winning three-match one day series against the green shirts and they are dreaming to win this format as well.
Pakistan amongst top team of this format while the green caps had played seven T20’s against the Bangal tigers and Pakistan was victorious in all the matches.
But recent defeat in ODI’s could change history as well.
However in presence of Afridi, Sohail Tanveer, Umar Gul, Ahmed Shahzad Bangladesh could face tough time.
Earlier on Thursday (yesterday) Shahid Afridi talking to media said that the national squad was better in the 20 over format compared to the ODIs.
The skipper had expressed confidence that the T20 side would play well in the match against Bangladesh on Friday. Afridi added that Bangladesh was playing as one unit.
Afridi further said he was happy playing T20 and new players should be given a chance in the ODI format.
“I will try to make the team one unit by the 2016 T20 World Cup.” the skipper added.
Afridi also called for the patience with spinner Saeed Ajmal stating that he should be allowed time.
