COLOMBO: Sarfraz Ahmed shines as Pakistan set huge 316 runs total against Sri Lanka on loss of four wickets in 3rd One Day International played at Colombo.
Pakistan after winning the toss got the great start as Azhar Ali and Ahmed Shahzad put on 93 for the first wicket.
Shahzad got out after scoring 44. Azhar was unlucky as he was run out after scoring 49. Then Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Hafeez batted with great responsibility as both of them scored half centuries.
Hafeez lost his wicket after scoring 54 while Sarfraz was run out on 77. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Rizwan continue their good form with the bat as Malik scored unbeaten 42 of just 28 deliveries while Rizwan smashed unbeaten 35 of just 22 bowls and guide the team towards 316 runs on loss of four wickets.
Lasith Malinga and Sachith Pathirana took one wicket each for the home side.
