Pakistan have set massive 172 runs target against New Zealand in 1st Twenty 20 (T20) played at Eden Park, Auckland.

Mohammad Hafeez played an outstanding knock of 61 after Pakistan were put into bat by New Zealand. The Green-Shirts were off to a flying start when Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad came out to bat.

First wicket of the visitors fell on 33 in shape of Shehzad who made 16. Sohaib Maqsood’s disappointing run with the bat continued as he was stumped without troubling the scorers.

Shoaib Malik got the start but couldn’t convert in the big score. He departed after scoring 20 runs while Skipper Shahid Afridi smashed 23 of just eight deliveries and Umar Akmal made 24 to guide the total to 171 on loss of eight wickets.

Adam Milne was the stand out bowler for the hosts as he picked four wickets.
