ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday cleared that there was no proposal under consideration to recognise Israel.

Addressing a weekly media briefing here, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that the Pakistan’s policy on Israel was very clear.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent visit to Afghanistan was very significant. Islamabad will continue to play its role for peace and stability in Kabul as durable peace and stability in Afghanistan is in the regional interest, the FO spokesperson said.

He said that the Indian forces had been involved in the human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir. India is committing genocide of Kashmiri Muslims. New Delhi is trying to divert attention from the Kashmir issue by leveling allegations on Islamabad, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri added.

The FO spokesperson said that the Indian atrocities could not suppress the freedom spirit of the Kashmiri people.
