ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday resumed the direct flight operation with China after a three-day suspension.
The first flight carrying over 60 passengers from Urumqi landed here.
The health officials screened the passengers at the airport before allowing them the leave the arrival lounge.
Meanwhile, the special assistant to the prime minister on the National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination said on Monday that not a single case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the country.
Flanked by Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing while addressing a presser here on Monday, Dr Zafar Mirza said that Islamabad had acquired the medical kits being used to diagnose the coronavirus.
We have shared with the provinces the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the prevention and treatment of the coronavirus, the special aide to the PM added.
