LAHORE: Minister for Railways Azam Khan Swati on Monday claimed the department would turn into a profitable entity over the next six to nine months.
Speaking at a press conference, the federal minister said that the Pakistan Railways would become a profitable entity from six to nine months.
Swati said that the frequency of freight trains would be enhanced with the view to generate more revenue.
The federal minister said that the number of goods trains would be enhanced with the cooperation of the private sector.
